The 1984 anti-Sikh riots accused, Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar will campaign for Congress in Delhi for the upcoming assembly elections. According to the party “all persons are allowed to campaign” in Democratic country.
Soon after President Pranab Muhkerjee dissolved the Delhi Assembly, the preparation for polls have began in the capital. The news was surfacing that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s office constituted a poll committee which included Tytler and Sajjan Kumar.
However, the party ‘rubbishes’ the claim by saying that the controversial duo were not inducted in the poll committee, but will campaign for Congress as they were senior leaders and the riot issue was sub-judice.
