Rahul Gandhi shown black flags in Amethi

Bhartiya Kisan Union has showed black flags to Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi in Amethi today. Rahul is on a 2-day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency with his sister Priyanka Gandhi.

Rahul is to meet party workers and will visit some villages to review the work of central schemes.

Rahul is also facing tough challenge this time from AAP leader Kumar Vishwas, who has been campaigning in Amethi for last 20 days. Viswas has earlier claimed that he will defeat Rahul Gandhi in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

“A lot of claims have been made on development of Amethi but the reality is that there is no development here… Coming here and returning after waving at people will not serve the purpose of development,” Kumar Vishwas had told CNN-IBN.
