The Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in South Delhi’s Ambedkar Nagar, managing to provoke the gasping crowd with his fiery speech, days ahead of the elections. In his speech, not only did he promise about the changes that his party wishes but also highlighted some key-elements.
‘My politics has only one direction, only one aim and only one motto- development’ was quoted by him. Further, the PM dismissed the opinion polls that had predicted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to win majority, as ‘lies’ and requested the citizens to rethink and recall the elections of the previous year.
‘I am a Dilliwala like you and I’m equally responsible for its all round development’ was next quoted by him. Meanwhile, the Congress Vice-président Rahul Gandhi, at another election rally, claimed that Jayanthi Nataranjan, who recently quit his party, was ‘set-up’ by Modi to attack him.
As top leaders of the parties criss-cross the capital in a final attempt to secure majority for their respective parties, a few former members of the AAP were reportedly embarrassed and found to be apologising at a Press Club organised on Wednesday afternoon.
