Priyanka Gandhi takes over the charge of Rahul’s election campaign

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has reportedly taken charge of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha campaign.

Priyanka is also taking active part in the Congress’s election campaign strategy along with her brother Rahul Gandhi. She is meeting the senior party leaders regularly at Rahul’s residence at Tughlak Lane and closely monitoring the election plans.

Although Congress has denied her possible role in active politics, but admitted that she will continue to manage Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi’s constituency in Rae Bareli and Amethi . Party has declared Priyanka as the chief campaigner for these two constituencies for Congress.

Party Sources are saying that Priyanka is holding meetings everyday with party leaders and becomes the missing link between party’s old and new guard.

Priyanka is spending chunk of her time in Rahul’s office these days and she is unofficially Rahul’s second-in-command for the election 2014. She has also accompanied Rahul in his television first interview to a Times Now channel recently.
