The Bharatiya Janata Party has increased its attack on Aam Aadmi Party and its law minister Somnath Bharti. BJP supporters continue their agitation across the state and today they had gathered outside the Delhi Secretariat in demand of Bharti’s resignation over the alleged misbehaving with the African women.
BJP MLAs met Arvind Kejriwal today and they have reportedly refused tea from the Chief Minister.
“Kejriwal offered us tea. I want to tell him that we are not hear for tea. He should sack Somnath Bharti,” a BJP MLA told CNN-IBN.
Congress who has been giving outside support to AAP, said that Kejriwal government has not fulfilled its promises to the people of Delhi and only time will tell if the Kejriwal would retain the confidence of the people.
Rebel AAP MLA Laxmi Nagar Vinod Kumar Binny has earlier met the Lieutenant Governor and demanded action against Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti.
Defending his government, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said his government’s performance is better than any of the other governments in the country.
“We are here to work for the people, not to ensure that we stay in power,” Kejriwal told reporters.
Meanwhile Somnath Bharti continues producing controversies. After This time his target was President Pranab Mukherjee who had made comments of “populist anarchy” in his republic day speech.
“If AAP actions were Anarchy, what would Hon President consider 1984 and 2002 riots as? Agitation? Lol. A good joke Mr President!!!.kamdar,” Somnath Bharti tweeted. However, repeating the tradition, he later he denied this tweet altogether.
