PM Narendra Modi to keep the Varanasi seat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will keep the Varanasi seat and will vacate the Vadodara seat. He won the Lok Sabha elections from both the constituencies with whipping majority.

ModiModi had won Varanasi seat defeating closest rival AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal by a margin of over 4 lakh votes.

Modi also won in Vadodara seat with record margin. He defeated the nearest rival by over 5 lakh seventy thousand votes.

However, his win in Varanasi is more significant as BJP won 73 seats out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh.
