Pakistan Names Raja Pervez Ashraf As New Prime Minister

After Anti-narcotics court issued an arrest warrant against Makhdoom

Shahabuddin, ruling party PPP today has announced their alternative and final choice for the post of Prime minister in Pakistan. Pakistan Peoples Party today named Raja Pervez Ashraf as the new PM of the country. He was the IT minister in Gilani’s government.

On Thursday Pakistan court issued an arrest warrant for ex-textiles minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin over a drugs scam.

Raja Pervez Ashraf will be chosen formally by The Lower House of Parliament on Friday evening.
