No arrests have been made in the Bhandara rape case in Maharashta.
A week after three minor sisters were raped and murdered in Bhandara district in Maharashtra, the mother of the girls said that the culprits should be hanged in public.
Speaking to CNN-IBN, the mother said, “I think the men who did this should be found at the earliest and hanged in public.”
She also said that she does not need any compensation; she needs justice for her daughters. Earlier Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan has announced a compensation of Rs 10 Lakh to the mother.
Local villagers blocked the national highway 6 on Wednesday in protest against police inaction.
Maharashtra Home Minister RR Patil visits the mother of the girls on Thursday.
Three sisters were allegedly raped and murdered on February 14 in Bhandara district while returning from school and later was murdered and their bodies were dumped in a well.
