If things are going in the right direction then India is set to watch the biggest battle of all – Narendra Modi vs Arvind Kejriwal in the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls.
After BJP has announced that its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will contest from the Varanasi constituency, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has expressed his eagerness to fight the election from here.
Kejriwal said he could take up challenge to contest against Modi if the people of Varanasi want him to do so. He said that he will go to Varanasi on March 23 and decide after talking to the people there.
“I will go to Varanasi and will hold a rally on March 23. I will not accept this challenge now. If the people of Varanasi ask me to take this challenge then I will take this challenge,” Kejriwal said.
AAP leader Ashutosh said that the party wants Kejriwal to fight against Modi.
“The party wishes and the party thinks that Kejriwal should fight against Modi in Varanasi and this has already been conveyed to him,” Ashutosh said.
Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia has also echoed party’s sentiment.
“If Modi contests from Varanasi, then we have almost decided that Arvind Kejriwal will be pitted against him (Modi),” Sisodia had said.
