BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has tried to woo the Indian businessmen at a traders’ convention in Delhi on Thursday.
Modi said India urgently needs to revive its Indian economy and policies. He said there should be end in Delhi-based rule and more power should be given to the state.
“There is a need to revive the structure of the government in India. Give us power so that we can eliminate insignificant laws,” Modi said.
“Fashion of running the nation from Delhi must stop. Let us trust the states, each state has their own strengths. Whether it is a farmer or a labourer, everyone is working for the nation with same spirit” he added.
Modi said that trust building measures should be there to create healthy business environment and assured that his government will take all necessary actions to make better system for work.
“There is a need of trust between all sections of the department. System runs with trust and where the system breaks, law enters,” he said.
Modi said his government will focus on trade and power if BJP wins the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Praising senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi, Modi said Joshi will address all issues related to trade and investment in BJP’s Manifesto.
“Murli Manohar Joshi’s contribution in the various discussions on economic and other issues is very vital. He is chairing our Manifesto Committee,” Modi said.
