Modi keeps ministry of Atomic Energy, Space and Public Grievances

According to the full list provided by Rashtrapati Bhavan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself keeps important portfolios like Personnel, Public Modi_takes_charge360Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space.

Arun Jaitley, the most sought after minister in the Modi cabinet has given charges of Finance, Corporate Affairs as well as the ministry of defense.

While taking charge on Tuesday, Jailtley said, his primary focus will be on fiscal consolidation and inflation.

“The big challenge is maintaining a balance between growth and inflation. Controlling inflation will be a priority, but the government needs to restore arun jaitleythe pace of growth,” Jaitley said.

He also indicated that the Defence Ministry is temporary charge till the Prime Minister finds a suitable candidate.

“For a transient phase, I will be looking after Ministry of Defence also, but that’s only an additional charge till there’s an expansion in cabinet itself,” Jaitley said.
