Modi government’s first General Budget will be on July 10

The Narendra Modi government will present its first general budget on July 10. The budget session will begin on July 7 and continue till August 14.

Railways Minister Sadananda Gowda will present his first Railway Budget on July 8, followed by Economic Survey on July 9.

The Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will present general budget on July 10.

Dates for the Budget Session were finalised in a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.

The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) headed by home minister Rajnath Singh met on Monday and decided the dates.
