Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Friday continue his attack on Congress and UPA government over SP leader Naresh Agarwal’s derogatory remark against his background of a tea-seller.
On Friday, Modi said that people will decide whether they can accept a Tea-vendor as their PM or not.
“It is for the people to decide whether a tea seller should be a PM. A tea-seller PM is better that a PM who sells the country,” he said.
Earlier Naresh Agarwal had said that a tea-seller can’t be Prime Minister of India.
“Narendra Modi says he used to sell tea. He wants to be PM now. A tea vendor can never have a national outlook. If you make a ‘sipahi’ (constable) as ‘kaptan’ (Superintendent of Police), he can never have an SP’s approach but will have that of a constable,” Agarwal claimed.
Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, Modi said, “These days the Shezada says he wants to change the system. I want to ask who governed the country for 60 years? It was Congress and it is the Congress that has made the system.”
