Now the Mizoram assembly poll will be taken place on November 25 instead of scheduled December 4.
The Election Commission today announced the new date for 40-member Mizoram assembly election following requests from political class, churches and NGOs.
“The Commission, having considered these inputs and representations, decided to revise the schedule for the General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Mizoram,” an order by the Election Commission said.
The counting will be done on December 8.
