Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati on Tuesday hits out at Akhilesh Yadav government for deteriorating law and order in Uttar Pradesh. She accused Samajwadi Party government for increasing incident of riots in the state and demanded President’s rule in UP.
“The Akhilesh Yadav government has failed on the law and order front,” Mayawati in New delhi on Tuesday.
“Samajwadi Party said a lot of things against Gujarat riots in Allahabad but not a word was said about riots in their own rule,” Mayawati said adding, “People affected by Muzaffarnagar riots have still not been able to get over it.”
Mayawati also criticised Samajwadi Party government for the ongoing doctors’ strike in the state.
“We condemn the thrashing of doctors by a Samajwadi Party MLA. SP leader beat up a doctor but the UP government is not interested in doing justice,” Mayawati said.
Slamming BJP and its primne ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Mayawati said Muslims will never forgive BJP.
“Narendra Modi may boast about his chest but Muslims will never be impressed or scared to vote for him. Muslims will never forgive BJP, even if the party apologises a thousand times. Narendra Modi and Mulayam Singh are two faces of the same coin. There’s no difference between them. Gujarat government is the most corrupt,” she said.
