Prime Minister Manmohan Singh rubbishes the reports on his alleged rift with Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Prime Minister on Friday said that such reports are false and there is no difference of opinion between the two.
“In all truthfulness, there is no difference of opinion between me and the Congress president,” Manmohan Singh told reporters on his way back from Japan and Thailand.
“We work together on almost every issue and where consultations are needed, I consult the Congress president. This perception that on certain issues there were differences of opinion, there is no truth in that“ he added.
There are rumours in the political circle that Congress President Sonia Gandhi is not happy the way Prime Minister Manmohan Singh handled the resignation of Ashwani Kumar as law minister and PK Bansal as railway minister.
