Railway minister Mallikarjun Kharge has presented 2014 interim Railway Budget in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. There has been no change in passenger fare or freight rates and the minister has proposed 72 new trains keeping the 2014 general election in mind.
Kahrge had to cut short his budget speech amidst protests over Telangana issue in the house. He has introduced 17 new premium trains, 38 express trains and 10 passenger trains.
