Jagan Reddy meets Rajnath Singh

YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy has met BJP President Rajnath Singh on Friday and asked BJP’s support against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

“We (Singh and himself) had a very detailed discussion on the topic. He assured us that he would be discussing the matter with his party colleagues and a decision (on the Telangana Bill issue) would be taken very soon,” Reddy told reporters after the meet.

“I am hopeful that wisdom would dawn upon all opposition parties and all of them would stand up against this injustice,” Jagan added.

India observed ugliest ruckus following the tabling of the controversial T-bill in the Lok Sabha yesterday. Both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha were adjourned following the chaos in the parliament by the anti-Telanagana MPs in protest over the Telengana Bill which is proposed to divide Andhra Pradesh to create separate Telangana statehood. Expelled Congress MP Lagdapati Rajagopal has used pepper spray in the Lok Sabha and led the protest soon after home minister introduce the bill. Speaker has suspended sixteen MPs for disrupting the parliament.
