Finally Narendra Modi acknowledges Jashodaben as his wife

BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has finally admitted that he is a married man.

In an affidavit before Election Commission for Vadodara constituency Gujarat Chief Minister named Jashodaben as his wife.

This is the first time when Modi admitted publicly that he is married and acknowledged Jashodaben as his wife. Modi had always kept the spouse column blank. Modi But after facing severe criticism from Congress over his controversial marital status, Modi has chosen to come clean on the issue. Modi, however has not declared assets of his wife as he written he has no information on it.

Defending him his brother Damodardas Modi has issued a clarification saying Modi was married to Jashodaben over 45 years ago when he was a minor and Modi had ‘given up family for the country’s service’.
