Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s poster boy Narendra Modi has said that his priority is to work in Gujarat till 2017 and he does not aspire to become Prime Minister of this country.
“I want to work for the people of my state. They have chosen me to serve them till 2017 and that is my priority,” Narendra Modi said today during a Teachers’ Day function.
“Those who dream of becoming something end up destroying themselves. One should not dream of becoming something, but one should dream of doing something. I never see such dreams (of becoming PM), nor am I going to see such dreams,” he added.
Modi’s statements come at a time when Congress is demanding his resignation over suspended IPS officer D G Vanzara’s controversial letter and his own party BJP is divided over his Prime Ministerial candidature.
