The Delhi High Court on Monday slammed Arvind Kejriwal government for not taking action over the night shelter problem in the state.
The Court has criticised Delhi government for not seeking suggestions from NGOs over this issue as the deaths continues due to cold in Delhi and poor condition of night shelters.
The court has asked AAP government to call a meeting with NGOs and submit the report within four weeks. The Court also asked government to co-ordinate with police.
Earlier Arvind Kejriwal has asked homeless people to use old abandoned buses as the night shelters. But people have complained that those buses are difficult to use as there are no electricity and there are not sufficient blankets to cover the iron floors of buses during night.
