Cabinet reshuffle On Oct 28?

The much awaited Cabinet reshuffle may take place on 28th October. According to some media channels Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi are ready with the list and on this Sunday some ministers will be dropped and few new faces will be included in the cabinet.

Coal minister Sriprakash Jaiswal and Tourism minister Subodh Kant Sahay may lose their ministry. Law minister Salman Khurshid could lose charge from Minorities Affair Ministry. Rehman Khan is front runner to get this Ministry.

The big question is whether External affair minister SM Krishna will be able to survive this time.

Some young ministers like Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sachin Pilot may get promoted while Minister Agatha Sangma will be replaced by NCP leader Tariq Anwar.

This time congress will bring some new faces including Manish Tiwari, Deepa Dasmunshi and Chiranjeevi.

There is no confirmation yet on Rahul Gandhi’s decision to join the Manmohan Singh Cabinet.

It may be the last biggest reshuffle before next Lok Sabha elections.
