The BJP has got another new partner in Tamil Nadu ahead of Lok Sabha polls. Vijayakanth’s DMDK and Modi’s BJP has finalized the seat sharing for the upcoming general elections.
The “Captain’s” DMDK will fight in 14 out of 39 parliamentary seats from Tamil Nadu. Already BJP has tied up with the MDMK and the seat-sharing talk with PMK is at the last stage.
The actor-turned politician Vijayakanth has been emerged as one of the key factor in Tamil Nadu. BJP is hoping to gain some seats from down south to chase mission of 272+. In 2012 DMDK had tied-up with Jayalalithaa’s AIADMK and got the second most popular votes in the assembly elections. But they soon departed over the disagreement in seat sharing for local body polls. Now BJP wants to ride on the popularity of Captain in the state and especially in Madurai region.
