BJP threatens to boycott Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and disrupt parliament during the upcoming budget session over his ‘Hindu terror’ comment.
The principal opposition party BJP wants an apology from Shinde over his controversial remarks.
“The BJP wants an apology from home minister Sushilkumar Shinde over his Hindu terror remarks for smooth functioning of Parliament,” Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj said.
According to reports, Shinde had spoken to Ms. Swaraj to find out the solution.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders demonstrated massive protest at Jantar Mantar and attacked Shinde over his ‘saffron terror’ remarks on Wednesday.
BJP president Rajnath Singh said, “We cannot tolerate this. Congress has this habit. Was Swami Vivekananda a terrorist? Is anyone who is wearing saffron a terrorist? No one is bad, neither Hindu nor Muslim only the Congress’s nature is bad… Hindutuva is a way of life.”
Arun Jaitley, said, “In the country’s politics nobody dared to link BJP and RSS with terror camps. If there is any element of truth, the government should ban us and put the facts before people. But if this is not true, Shinde should withdraw his statement and apologise to the nation.”
Nitin Gadkari said, “I want to ask Shinde to answer to the nation that whatever he spoke (about BJP and RSS) was a lie… BJP and RSS workers are nationalists. We will take the battle to people’s court. Shinde has betrayed the nation.”
