The BJP and PDP have finally reached consensus on dispute issues like Article 370 and AFSPA and on road to announce joint formation of the government in Jammu and Kashmir, after two months of hard negotiation.
According to the reports both the parties have decided to keep aside their ideological difference and work on common minimum program, focusing on development. While BJP has given in to PDP’s demand of maintaining status quo of controversial Article 370, the BJP has also managed to secure slight changes in PDP’s demand on removing AFSPA from the state. Now the common agenda will announce that both the parties will work on gradual reduction of military presence in the state in areas where the security situation has improved.
PDP leader Mufti Mohammad Sayeed will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow in the capital and likely to announce the formation of “North Pole and the South Pole”.
