Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today addressed media on the occasion of one-month anniversary of his government. Kejriwal credited his government with list of achievements including cracking down on corruption.
The Aam Aadmi Party will also later meet to discuss the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and analise its government’s functions.
“The meet will review the preparations for Lok Sabha elections and discuss the number of seats to be contested,” AAP statement said.
“Discussions will also be held on various controversies in the past one month including law minister Somnath Bharti and expelled MLA Vinod Kumar Binny,” it added.
Kejriwal has also said his government will send a formal proposal to Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung over the formation of a Special Investigation Team to probe the 1984 riots.
Meanwhile the press conference was disrupted by a Congress MLA, Asif Mohammad Khan. Accusing Kejriwal government of lie, he said AAP has betrayed Delhi.
“These people making false promises. They have betrayed Delhi. The Congress should withdraw support,” Khan said.
