Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has slammed BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for referring his government as ‘baap-bete ki sarkar’.
Addressing an election rally in Maharajganj on Friday, Yadav said Samajwadi Party is the only party which thinks of development in India.
“Our government has fulfilled its promises. When we said that we will distribute laptops, the opposition asked that how it will be done. Now, when we did it, they say that youth are watching movies on it. I want to ask them that is distributing laptops among youth bad? The youth are searching jobs and filling forms easily with the help of laptops and even if they are watching movies, what’s wrong in it. Is watching movies a sin?” he asked.
“We created 40,000 vacancies in the state and more will come after elections. We are at the top in producing milk. Our government has worked for development. We are asking for votes on the basis of work not on the basis of fake advertisements. We believe in doing and they believe in just saying,” he added.
