Aggressive Sonia guns for 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

An aggressive Congress President Sonia Gandhi today addressed crusical AICC meet in New Delhi. Amidst the demands of announcing Rahul Gandhi’s name as the party’s prime ministerial candidate, Sonia today ended the speculations and said Congress will not take Rahul’s name prime ministerial candidate, however he will lead the election campaign.

“Whatever decision the Congress Working Committee (CWC) took on Thursday with regard to Rahul Gandhi is final,” Sonia said.Sonia also said that Congress is ready for 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

“We meet today to send the clear signal that Congress is ready and prepared for the battle ahead,”

“The upcoming elections will witness a fight between ideologies and the Congress remains committed to its values. These elections will be a battle for India as it was conceived by our founding fathers. It will be a battle for our secular traditions,” she added.

“Our party is woven into the fabric of this nation from its very conception as a modern nation state,” Sonia said.
