Its Aam Aadmi Party all the way in Delhi, registering a thumping victory for former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. What a way to come back to power again!
Delhi has voted for Kejriwal, giving them a lead in whooping 67 seats out of total 70-seat assembly on Tuesday morning. The BJP who had lead in all 7-constituency in the Lok Sabha polls, reduced to next to crumble whereas the Congress’ decimation is complete with almost no score.
With landslide victory in-sight, Arvind Kejriwal, told at a national TV, “I had no nervous moments, we knew people were with us. I promise to end corruption and VIP culture.”
Taking responsibility for this humiliating defeat, BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi said, “The defeat is mine… it is not a referendum on PM Modi.”
