6 MNS workers have been arrested by the Maharashtra police on Wednesday for clashing with NCP workers following their leader Raj Thackeray’s convoy attacked by MNC workers on Tuesday night in Mumbai.
MNS workers alleged that NCP supporters waved black flags and throw stones at Raj Thackeray’s convoy Tuesday night.
NCP has denied the charges. NCP leader Jitendra Awhad said, “I don’t know who attacked Raj Thackeray’s vehicle in Ahmednagar. I don’t know who attacked my office here. I would not like to make a statement. Whoever has attacked my office they are all cowards. If they had real guts they could have come when I was sitting here. They spent time here and there waiting for me to go out of the office. That shows what guts they have.”
“If we are spoken to with love, we too shall speak with love. The reply will be in the same language. The workers who pelted stones at Raj Thackeray’s convoy must first apologise,” MNS leader Ram Kadam replied.
