Kerala Police has registered a case against 111 people for posting objectionable remarks on Facebook against PJ Kurien’s advocate and Congress party worker Bindu Krishna.
Bindu Krishna lodged a complaint with police alleging that she has been unnecessarily targeted on Facebook for defending Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien who is also an accused of Suryanelli gang rape case.
All 111 were booked under Section 66A of the Information and Technology Act.
In an interview with NDTV, Bindu Krishna said, “Some people attacked my privacy by posting this comment…it was a Highly defamatory comment so I filed a complaint with the Kerala chief minister.”
In 1996 a girl from Surynelli was kidnapped and raped by 42 men in 40 days. The victim named PJ Kurien’s name among the rapists.
