After the Supreme Court has rejected mercy plea against death penalty of notorious Veerappan’s 4 aides, it is just now matter of time before they are going to be hanged.
The Apex court awarded death sentences to Veerappan’s four aides – Gnanaprakash, Simon, Meesekar Madaiah and Bilavendran in 2004. They were responsible for killing 22 policemen in a landmine blast in 1993 at Palar in Karnataka.
The president, Pranab Mukherjee had already rejected their mercy plea.
