In its new exam pattern, the Union Public Services Commission asks students to write in a pre-defined areas in a combined question paper-cum-answer book. UPSC will not allow ‘any attempt outside the pre-defined space”.
The students will get relief from the conventional essay type of answers and now can easily write in short answer type.
UPSC aims to give advantage to many students who are not specialized in English skills but good in their own technical subjects.
