Two prisoners escaped from a Quebec jail in sheer Hollywood style on Sunday.
According to the Jail authorities the inmates climbed up a rope into a hovering helicopter to make a bold daylight exit.
The jail’s warden informed police that prisoners had grabbed a rope dropped from the helicopter to make their escape around 2:20 pm on Sunday.
“As far as I know, it’s a first in Quebec. It’s exceptional,” said police Sgt. Benoit Richard.
Quebec provincial police later claimed that they have arrested Benjamin Hudon-Barbeau (36) and Danny Provencal (33) along with the pilot about 30 miles north of the Saint-Jerome jail.
