Sunanda Pushkar’s died of drug overdose?

The AIIMs has submitted Union minister for HRD Sashi Tharoor’s wife Sunanda Pushkar’s autopsy report to sub-divisional magistrate on Monday evening. According to sources the report concluded that she has died of drug poisoning due to overdose.

Home minister Sushilkumar Shinde has ordered police a speedy proble into Sunanda Pushkar’s sudden death.

“He (Tharoor) has written to me and sought an expeditious probe. I have already talked to the persons concerned and they are doing it,” Shinde told reporters.

In his letter Sashi Tharoor Tharoor has said he was “horrified to read the reckless speculation rampant” in the media and assured Home Ministry of full support from him in the probe.

Sunanda Pushakar was found dead in a hotel in New Delhi on Friday evening.
