Raj Thackeray’s the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena asked singer-composer Adnan Sami to leave India right away as his visa has expired few days back.
Adnan Sami met the MNS leader Amey Khopkar on Saturday at the party office and spoke over an hour.
“We summoned him after getting complaints from various quarters that his visa had expired Oct 6 and that he was staying in India illegally,” Khopkar informed IANS.
“We hope that he leaves the country immediately and returns only after his visa has been renewed,” he added.
MNS Saturday asked London-born singer of Indian-Pakistani origin Adnan Sami to leave the country immediately as his visa has expired, an official said.
London-born musician Adnan Sami’s father was a Pakistani diplomat and his mother Naureen Khan was Indian. He has been signing for Bollywood films for the last 14 years.
