Facebook and Instagram are UP now

Don’t worry it’s not your internet problem! Don’t bother your network guys! Everything is under control! Check it now…you can see your Facebook and Instagram account – Live and Well.

Yes…it was not your net which was behaving weird, its just that Facebook and Instagram were down. Yes, you read it right! The Facebook and Instagram were not been accessible since Tuesday morning IST, but could be reached now.

Kudos to those users who did not panic after seeing the greeting message at Facebook on the morning which said, “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can. Go Back”. Even you could see the “Cannot find server” display.

Although it was still not clear why it was happening, but Instagram acknowledged the problem tweeting, “We’re aware of an outage affecting Instagram and are working on a fix. Thank you for your patience.”

Some were predicting that hacking was behind the reason as one of the infamous hacker group tweeted “Facebook, Instagram, Tinder, AIM, Hipchat #offline #LizardSquad”.
