Boxer Vijender Singh refuses to give blood samples to police

Olympian Vijender Singh has refused to give blood and hair samples to Punjab police forensic tests.

Vijender was interrogated over three hours by the Punjab Police and reportedly the boxer has  has admitted that he knew the drug dealer Anoop Singh Kahlon.

Punjab police has arrested Anoop Singh Kahlon last week in connection with worth Rs 130 crore drug haul in Mohali. Kahlon told that he sold drugs to boxer Vijender Singh and Ram Singh.

“We had taken very small quantity of drugs, less than two grams each. But we are not habitual takers of drugs and had tried it just for adventure. We did not intend to improve our stamina or performance by taking it,” Ram Singh informed IANS on the phone.
