BMC demolishes ramp outside SRK’s house

The BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) has demolished illegal ramp in front of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow ‘Mannat’ at Bandra West on Saturday morning.

The BMC earlier sent a notice to actor and given a week’s time to remove the structure. The BMC had been receiving several complaints from locals including MP Poonam Mahajan due to its illegality and causing obstructions.

In her letter, Ms Mahajan wrote, “The ramp is known to be used by the bungalow owner to park his private heavy motor vehicle. In view of the safety and convenience of citizens, I request you to undertake demolition of the illegal ramp.”

The seven-day deadline ended last evening.
