After the news broke out that Bihar’s chief minister’s office has been run by his ‘Damaad’, the political storm began and embarrassed JDU had no clue how to defend its chief minister. Sources are telling that later in the night Manjhi’s son-in-law was forced to resign by the party to save the face.

“It was turned into such a big issue that I had no option but to resign… I quit keeping in mind the prestige of the chief minister,” Devendra Manjhi told a TV channel.

Devendra Manjhi was handing his father-in-law’s office since June and was discovered very recently by BJP. The party came out in protest asking how could the chief minister appointed his son-in-law as personal assistant, when the state government circular clearly mentioned that a person sitting on a public office could not appoint a relative in his staff.

Earlier the adamant Chief Minister rubbished the media reports and said, “Such allegations are often hurled against me and my family. I will look into this.”

About Sprightly Spirit

“I dare do all that may become a man. Who dares more is none”. And all, may be. It may be the vigor. Or the spirit. Or the courage to avoid being “politically correct” or bent. And, ban all averse with immaculate overture of graciously fathomable words firm in views. Subtle. Justifying the undying conscience. Values. Knowledge. And, dares to stay true. True to own. True to the world. And, to the words. With a dream in eyes it exists. In you. In me. In all. The sprite that never shies away. The spirit that never dies!
