IRCTC launched Mobile Ticket Booking Service

Another big step has taken by IRCTC to make the ticket booking more user friendly and convenient by launching mobile ticket booking service.

One can now easily book the ticket from their own handset, only after downloading a suitable software on the mobile with internet connection. After booking, the passenger will get a reservation message with full details of the ticket including PNR, train no,  journey date along with berth. The best thing is one doesn’t required to carry a print-out, only showing this message is enough to ensure the travel.

The service charge is the same as e-tickets– Rs 10 for Sleeper class and Rs 20 for other classes.
