In latest developments, the United States of America has ‘gathered’ its allies to form a strong coalition that would fight against the Islamic State (IS) group, on Wednesday, and agreed on concrete terms to corner the militants in their ‘final bastions.’
The newly-formed alliance, with US leading it, aims at freeing the cities lost to the jihadists and reducing their widespread terror. In the past few weeks, the militants have claimed responsibilities behind the horrific attacks that shook Nice, Istanbul, Baghdad and Dhaka, which left over a hundred dead and thousands injured.
American Defence Secretary of State Ash Carter, in his statement to the media, said that an ever-increased military presence would soon result the terror outfit to be pushed back. His other counterparts seemed to agree since they now have an assurance that the cities shall be freed and the terror groups would be curbed. “Today, we made the plans and commitments that will help us deliver Islamic State the lasting defeat that it deserves,” Carter remarked, as a mark of anticipated triumph, at an airbase near Washington city.
