Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron said on Monday that his government has asked the Internet service providers to automatically block access to pornography sites unless customers decide the sites to keep in.
Britain is taking some tough steps to stop spreading extreme sexual images on internet which is affecting children. The government asked Google and other search engines to block searches based on certain key-words.
David Cameron said that the proposed method will ensure that children will not get easy access to violent porn movies which contain rape scenes and other crime.
Cameron wants to implement it by year end and asked service providers to come up with solutions.
“If there are technical obstacles to acting on this, don’t just stand by and say nothing can be done; use your great brains to overcome them…You’re the people who have worked out how to map almost every inch of the earth from space, who have algorithms that make sense of vast quantities of information. You’re the people who take pride in doing what they say can’t be done,” Cameron said.
