Shoe-attack on Hillary Clinton during speech

A shoe was thrown at former first lady of US and the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her speech at a Las Vegas convention on Thursday. An unidentified middle-aged blonde woman was arrested and taken to federal custody after questioning. She would face criminal charges.

The shoe was not hit her as Ms. Clinton ducked and she later joked about it.

“Is that somebody throwing something at me? Is that part of Cirque de Soleil?” Clinton joked.

“My goodness, I didn’t know that solid waste management was so controversial,” Clinton said.
