Libyan PM kidnapped from a hotel in TripoliAccording to some reports Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan has been kidnapped by armed men from a Tripoli hotel on Thursday.

“The head of the government Ali Zeidan was taken at dawn this morning by gunmen to an unknown place for unknown reasons,” the government released a statement.

Al-Arabiya television released a video which showed Zeidan, wearing a grey shirt, were surrounded by several men in civilian clothes. The channel quoted Libya’s justice minister as saying that Zeidan had been “kidnapped”.
