Apple & Sony Music have accused of Capitalizing on Pop queen Whitney Houston’s death, after price of Houston’s ‘Ultimate Collection’ album reportedly increased over 150% on iTunes.
Both Apple and Sony are under fire from the fans for their ill profit making strategy within hours of this sudden demise news of Whitney Houston.
The original price of 2007 released Ultimate Collection was £3, but it is selling now at £7.99.
Sony Music explained the move, saying it was due to a correction of an existing pricing error; it was rectified immediately and has nothing to do with Houston’s death.
Too much co-incidence one must say!
