Fixing its position much in the limelight and bettering the standard of products seems to be the new aspiration of one of India’s largest e-tailers, Snapdeal.
Snapdeal has charged up to keep up with the neck to neck competition with the close rival Flipkart which had acquired the new fashion and lifestyle e-tailer Myntra last year. Trailing the footsteps, Snapdeal acquired Exclusively, a website which sells designer wears by Indian designers.
Exclusively is a definitive destination for Indian luxury and lifestyle products. The websites hosts big names like Anita Dongre, Anju Modi, Gaurav Gupta, JJ Valya, Ritu Kumar, Satya Paul, Rohit Bahl, Manish Malhotra and many more. It also plans to expand its portfolio by adding international luxury brands.
Snapdeal which is a wide network of more than 50,000 merchants, brands, and has over 20 million members. It is now set to acquire Exclusively for an undisclosed amount. Kunal Bahl, Co-founder said, “We have witnessed a surge in demand from consumers across the country for premium and luxury products.” Exclusively will continue to work as an independent and a contented website from all aspects despite the deal, Snapdeal said.
