Google has accused its rivals Microsoft, Oracle and Apple to block them in the red-hot smartphone arena. Google CEO David Drummond irritated and blamed that Microsoft, Apple, Oracle and “other companies” conspiring to hamper the increasingly popular Android mobile software by buying up patents, effectively imposing a “tax” on Android cellphones.
American multinational technology companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google have been battling fiercely over patents with one another. Google is annoyed as Apple and Microsoft have teamed up against Google to get hold of some patents against Android.
Recently Google lost bid to buy thousands of patents from Nortel. “Microsoft and Apple have always been at each other’s throats, so when they get into bed together you have to start wondering what’s going on,” David Drummond wrote in a blog.
Drummond referred to “a hostile, organised campaign against Android by Microsoft, Oracle, Apple and other companies, waged through bogus patents.”
We yet to hear any response from Apple, Microsoft and Oracle
