World’s largest telecommunication equipment maker, Huawei denied the reports of having a plan to acquire Nokia.
The Chinese company said that it “has no plans to acquire Nokia”.
Recently Financial Times claimed that Huawei is seriously considering buying the mobile phone-maker giant.
Huawei’s vice president for external affairs, Bill Plummer denied such plan.
The website of Financial Times quoted Huawei’s Richard Yu saying, “We are considering these sorts of acquisitions; maybe the combination has some synergies but depends on the willingness of Nokia. We are open-minded.”
