Amazon launches its Indian marketplace Amazon.in

Finally world’s largest online retailer Amazon.com launches its Indian marketplace Amazon.in.

Amazon.in is set to give hard competition to Indian online retailers such as Flipkart, Infibeam, HomeShop18 and Snapdeal. It is interesting to see how eBay.in competes against Amazon.in.

Amaon last year launched Junglee.com and started its operation through it.

Amazon will provide customers to purchase products from third-party sellers using their high end technology and service through two new services ‘Sell on Amazon’ and ‘Fulfilment by Amazon’.

Amazon.in has started their journey with limited offering in two categories – Books and Movies & TV. The other categories will be functional soon.
